We’ve got some tips for you so that you can focus on the race weekend and not worry about anything.

FOOD AND DRINK

There is no shortage of food and drink on the Sachsenring. In the so-called fan mile on Goldbachstraße, you will find both fast food stands and barbecue stands where traditional German sausages are grilled. But forget about healthy food. Traditional Saxon cuisine is honoured here!

COMMUNICATIONS

It is very likely that, especially on Sunday, the mobile network in the Sachsenring will be overloaded. For this reason, do not rely on online tools. If you need to view anything on your mobile phone, save the page or document in advance so you can use it offline.
If you are going to the races with your friends, it is a good idea to arrange a meeting place and time. This is in case you get lost and can’t make phone calls due to network congestion.

WEATHER

Always check the weather before heading out on the circuit. In Germany, there can be afternoon thunderstorms or showers in the summer. Taking a raincoat or spare clothes in a waterproof backpack is always advisable.

NOISE

Motorsport is very noisy. While the noise level is tolerable in the normal grandstands, if you go closer to the track, we recommend you wear earplugs. Then definitely don’t leave your children without headphones.
